[Thoughts of a loving heart]



I love you that’s true.
You may not love me at all,
My love continues.

I miss you, though, you may not.
But, this surprises me not.

I remember you
And what you told me that day,
When I first met you.

Memories of that meeting,
In my thoughts keep on fleeting.

You I can’t forget.
How-much-ever time may pass
In heart so etched!

If I am no more one day
We meet in heaven I pray.
