[How the young and the old think and act]

It’s fun to behold
The young and the old
Traversing together.
The young run and jump,
The old prod and bump,
Both stretching the tether.

The young is so fast,
The old is the last,
Yet both on same journey.
What is young today
Will be old next day;
That is the destiny.

The young think they know,
The old know, don’t show;
Both often do tussle.
But yet in the end,
The old do pretend,
They were in a muddle.

Who is right, who’s wrong?
Whose argument strong?
These things just don’t matter.
The old lead the young.
They’re mentally strung
When dumped by the latter.
