[An appeal to the two biggest religions to let 'non-believers' stay as such]


Am I a Christian by faith?
No, yet I believe in Christ.
Though not Muslim, Mohammad
Was also for me quite right.

Are their two gods different?
No, their god is only one;
He who sustains all humans,
Believers and the heathen.

Each thinks all the others are
Non-believers, hence condemned.
How can innocent men be
Punished by god and revenged?

Why think man is born in sin
And he will be cast in hell,
Unless Christ or Mohammad
Rescue him from this sequel?

It’s said each baby is born
In god’s innocent image,
Free of any sin or guilt,
Or any evil carnage.

Let not the two religions
Try to salvage the mankind
By converting to their faith
Exercising logic blind.

History and modern times
Both do bear testimony;
Due to clash of religions
Wars have been fought too many.
