Refrozen

♦ ♦ ♦ ♦ ♦


On the last day of march
frozen ground meets frozen sky,
sad remembrance
of what I cannot melt,
cannot rearrange
and cannot make right.
Frozen day and night
give way to memories of a smile
this final day of March,
refrozen by your absence.
