My Life on a Plate

I've had quite a few thoughts about what to put in here today and even jotted down a few notes which I don't normally do. But as I've commented so many times, making plans isn't always a good idea as life has a nasty little way of blasting them apart.

Ironically, after yesterday's entry I've not had one phone call today until about ten minutes ago. And it was one of those sort I always dread. My dad has collapsed again for the second time this week and has had to be taken to hospital in an ambulance. Ironically too, for someone who craves space, when I get it something like this happens. My sister and son are at work, my husband is out and I'm at a loss what to do. Obviously my concentration has gone to the wind and I can't settle to anything until someone comes home and I hear some news from the hospital.

Today I agree with whoever first said 'Life's a bitch.'
