Detroit (vii) 'mover'
[ASR] The People Mover circles downtown Detroit.

Detroit

(vii)

♠♠♠♠♠

With some pork goulash and pierogi
he took the People Mover
circled 'round downtown
like a game of snakes and ladders
squiggly lines on the tourist map

the gleam of towers glinted
he looked down at Greek Town
inhaled the smells of onions
and the flames of saganaki
caught a glimpse of Windsor
when stopped at a corner

the river dreamed of the French
that gave this place its name
He paused

in thought, but the shiny new cars
just moved him on.
