My friend, fiancé, my love,
Dream of my broken heart!
As I send you my feelings,
I don’t know where to start.

Only in memories are
Love’s those sweetest moments.
Of those kisses, only tears
Are left as the remnants.

It’s ages since my eyes had
Your last glimpse on that day.
Hopes of your returning are
Now all shattered away.

In this envelope of love,
You’ll find my last letter,
Written in tears, not in ink.
It’s not a blank paper.
