My Life on a Plate

Up earlier than I wanted to be this morning but still no access to hotmail, images on WDC or Yahoo Games so not a happy bunny.

Phoned someone we know who claims to be a computer guru but I often think these types think of over-complicated solutions. He seemed to think either our server or our router (our computers are networked.)could be responsible but had no idea what to do about it.

'So, what if we unplug the router and then plug it back in? That's solved other problems before.'

'Oh, THAT won't make any difference.'

Put the phone down, turned off the computer, pulled the router plugs in the tower then put them back in.

VOILA! Back in hotmail and all mail sorted and WDC returned in glorious technicolour. Just got to check out games and see what I can do about that now. I suspect I have a Java applet problem but no idea how to sort it. Oh well, some progress is better than none.

Trouble is, it's getting on for midday and I've not washed, dressed or done anything but faff about on here and I'm supposed to be meeting my mum and sis in a bit.

I wish computer activities were good for the health and burnt massive amounts of calories. Have a good weekend everyone.
