Priorities
I just had to share with you this little story a man who just came back from Iraq shared with the rest of Bible study last night about contentment and joy, and what we consider important based on our current circumstances:

Before we deployed to Iraq, they put us in a huge hangar. Now this was no fun place to live.

No disrespect to the ladies, but they complained about having to use port-a-potties. Instead, they waited for hours to use the one bathroom available for hundreds of people.

When we got to Iraq, our toilets were burn barrels. You can imagine how they stunk in 100+ temperatures, and you could see everything inside of them. Two months later we received our port-a-potties. Every single woman there who originally wouldn’t step foot in a port-a-pottie cheered, “Yea! We finally got our port-a-potties!”
