Encouraging words

It never fails when I vent my frustrations either in my blog or my publication journal, I soon find my mailbox filled with emails of understanding and encouragement.

Since my newest brain vomit had to do with my angst with going to this writer’s conference and trying to sell my work, I decided to purge inside my publication journal instead of in my blog (If you have masochistic tendencies, you’re welcome to check out the entry in question at the appropriately titled "Brain vomit" ).

Not twelve hours later I get emails from Meg: Writes Daily in 2006 and karabu giving me a boost in self-confidence.

I still can’t help but be amazed how the simplest words can have the greatest impact on my attitude. I just hope they'll hold for the next two weeks. Then again, I can always print them out and take them with me to read whenever doubt peeks around the corner!

Just one more example how becoming a member of WDC had been the best blessing in further fueling my desire to write, in continuing to improve my writing, and that my writing is worthy for other eyes besides my own.
