Chain emails
I hope you don't mind two blogs in one day, but I couldn't refrain from adding this.

I've always hated chain letters when I was a kid, and I despise them even more when the arrive in my email.

But some are worse than others. I just received one about a new "prayer" for schools where it talks about how kids can't pray, the ten commandments are banned, yada, yada. An interesting read, but what really bugged me was the last part:

If you aren't ashamed to do this, please pass this on.
Jesus said, " If you are ashamed of me," I will be ashamed
of you before my Father."

Not ashamed? Pass this on and on then. God Bless us all!

So what this is saying if I don't pass on this email, I am ashamed of Jesus, and therefore He will be ashamed of me?

I don't think so!

If you want me to send something on, I may do so IF I think it's good enough to share. I think I've sent two, but no more than that.

But don't try to make me feel guilty or threaten me if I don't. That guarantees I won't "pass it on."
