Spiritualityless?
I’ve been feeling guilty the last couple of days. Every time I go into my blog to add my thoughts for the day, I see that title. I then purse my lips and hold off on adding my words into that little box, because they don’t reflect the theme of my blog. They’ve been more about my day-to-day outward life instead of my inward, spiritual life.

And I’ve tried again and again. But everything I’ve started didn’t feel right or the words tumbled all over the page into an incoherent mess.

I just now realized that’s okay. Life is as much about what goes on around us as within us. Does that mean I’ve set God aside? I admit it has occurred to me. But the more I mulled it over, the more I think that’s not the case. God is still here, and I still think about Him, talk to Him, even if it’s a simple hello and thanks for the birds singing outside my window in the morning.

Sometimes that’s enough. Just as we don’t always have intense conversations or activities with our loved ones, we can find equal amounts of comfort and joy in their silent presence.
