Please enable me to clearly see
What duties I must fulfil on my part.
Your bounty is so much overwhelming,
I don’t know how I can repay your debts.
Do not make me leave this world repenting
That I could not rise up from lowly depths.
Lord, kindly change my life into a mould
That makes me an instrument of your peace.
Awaken me so that I may behold
Your omnipresence in mountains and seas.
Grant me that I may in no case afford
To forget you for a moment, O Lord.
