I have heard many love songs,
I have heard many love words,
But inside me my soul longs,
To sing loudly, Your praises, so they are heard.
         On bended knee I come, with a humble heart I come,
         I love You, I need You,
I am singing some,
As I write to You.
         All day long I've been with Jesus,
         Tell me how could I ever honor You enough?
I know You'll never leave us,
Even when life is rough.
         Hold to His hand, God's unchanging hand,
         Trust in Him who will not leave you.
Forever and ever I will stand,
In total serving awe of You.
         Jesus, lover of my soul,
         Jesus, I will never let You go,
Even when my friends lose control,
I won't, because You I know.
When I hunger it will be for You,
When I thirst it will be for Thee,
I long for the love that's true,
I long for Him that sets me free,
I long for the One who is pure,
The One who loves me for me.
I long for the eternity that's sure,
I long to be forever with Thee.
And You I have as long as I follow You,
Flawless and true love flows from You,
You are my Lord and God,
You are Jesus, the Son of God.
