Running Around

Well, today was my running around day. Sadly, my babysitter who I had lined up to watch Andrew after Daycare called and canceled for today and tomorrow - at 10:30 at night. Left Brent and I in a big pickle. Sigh... Anyway, I called in today and I'll have Brent call in tomorrow. Just gotta' roll with it.

Andrew poor thing wants to know why Mommy has big "breasts" and why him and Daddy don't. The other day he held up his shirt and said, "See, Mommy, I have little ones." I said, "Uh-huh." He said: "Why?"

Just what I need a curious 4 year old. So I kept it really simple. I said: "Mommy is a big girl and big girls have big breasts. You and Daddy are boys so you have little ones."

Poor thing. He was still a little confused. Thinks there's 5 babies in Mommy's tummy. I tell him there's only one and he laughs and says "NO...five!"

Well, heck, Mommy's tummy is big, but five? He slays me.

Anyway, I did a lot of running around today. Got the F-150 serviced and washed. Dropped off FMLA paperwork with my Doctor. I got him to sign in the other day but work kicked it back saying the doctor needed to add this part:

Patient is off for 6 weeks for a vaginal delievery and 8 weeks for a C-Section. Shit! Isn't that norm??? Eyeroll. Just unneccesary grief. And trust me, I waddle everywhere I go now.

Went to Motherhood and bought a top for my skirt I'm going to wear to my MIL's wedding on Saturday. Maybe if I dance a little bit, I'll bring Labor on. Haha. !! I wish!!
