Ten-Finger Exercises

I have made low carb recipes for yams, cranberry sauce, pumpkin praline pie and pumpkin cheesecake to take with us to Spokane tonight. All in all, I feel like I've been ravished by beta carotene.

We thought about flying up since Bill has to be back at work on Friday. The weather looked promising an hour ago--to me--but Bill said the forecasts were not good. Besides, I wonder how we'd get all our food and a flower arrangement in the back seat, or the luggage compartment, of the plane in a tied-down fashion. If we drive, the dog will get to go; and even though it's hard for him to get in, he'd rather do that than stay home.

We are taking flowers because Bill usually calls the florist when he's gotten mad at me. I must have told him last time not to do that. It's nice, but it's expensive and just won't work as a "quick fix" any more. So this time he called the florist and ordered a centerpiece for us to take to Lenore in Spokane. Isn't he sneaky?

No, it's definitely going to snow, if not here, then 5,000 feet up. Poor Racer will have to stay home. But Seamus gets to go!
