The ornament dinner was a big hit. I cooked the chowder, rosemary mashed pototes and blueberry pie. The rib roast came out perfect. We had 10 people total, so it was a nice "intimate" number. Andrew enjoyed giving out "his & Joseph's" ornaments. I like having little dinners like that. Sunday, Andrew kept me on my toes. He went to Little Church while I took Joseph to mass with me. When we got home, Andrew hung out with me. We played trains, watched Thomas videos, and he helped me make "cups." (Joseph's bottles) We played Dora's Candyland game and read books! Whew! He wore me out! I'm glad he's at DC today! haha. Now, I'm gearing up for Joseph's baptism. I ordered the party platters and cake today at the local store. I'm still reading STATE OF DENIAL by Woodward, but gosh, it's a great book. In a way though, it's heartbreaking to hear how the wheels of gov't move so slowly. I saw Braveheart on TV last night. I really like that movie. It's got a little bit of everything in it for everyone. I'm not really listening to anything new simply because I don't what is new that's good. Any recommendations? ((hugs)) to all! |
