Working Stiff

I just got an email notice that I needed to update my blog, which normally I would ignore were it not for the fact that I begin this whole blog thing to force myself to write more. I'm actually feeling tired today, wore out. The day job is steady but unchallenging since the holidays. Its yet to ramp up to its normally crazy and chaotic level so I'm laboring in a tedious world of expense reports and formerly back-burnered projects. I also do a substantial amount of clock watching these days. I'm trying to get serious about editing and polishing the pieces I have now and focusing on not writing new stuff that could qualify as crap. Trying would be the operative word. Its almost 2pm and the world outside my office window looks bright and sunny.
