Another Week

Last night once my company left, I very deliberately pushed aside my laptop and picked up a Word Search Puzzle, a decision I'm feeling very guilty about since getting several Update Your Blog reminders in my inbox today. This morning marks the start of another week and though things seem to be looking up, I have this sinking feeling, like the shadow of depression is following me around. I'm not feeling very good and my spirits seem to be severely flagging. A decent part of the problem is work. I know things are going in the wrong direction there but don't see how I can stop it. My energy and capacity for dealing with this particular daily grind seem totally depleted. I feel as if I've been dealing with the bullshit so long, that I no longer have the strength to voice the old, familiar arguments and wage the same old wars.
