Lady In Waiting
Tick Tock...Tap Tap...Whistle Whistle...Cough Cough. A couple of weeks ago I didn't think I'd be even able to cobble together a Blogville News edition for July at all, what with holidays, family issues, lack of columnists and my internet connection playing up.

A week ago I thought I'd take on the challenge to get one out at least by the end of the month, as so many kind people offered to help and sent such great quality articles.

I've spent two afternoons working on the Newsletter and am amazed to announce everything is just about now in place and ready for release on the 24th as usual.

EXCEPT Tick Tock...Tap Tap...Whistle Whistle...Cough Cough...I'm sitting here in my Editor's Chair still awaiting two promised pieces from other writers. One of them in particular is essential before I can release the Newsletter. Without naming names, if anyone else intends contributing to the Newsletter this month could they please send me their articles ASAP. No pressure, really. *Laugh*

My sister will be visiting Monday to Wednesday, so I doubt I'll be about much but will attempt to release The Blogville News on Tuesday, providing I receive the missing pieces. Thanks again to everyone who has worked so hard on this issue.

I guess I should go and tidy up, or enter a contest for July, or make some essential phone calls, or design some party invitations, or sort out my portfolio, or organise my photos, or order some new jigsaws, or manage my blog links, or change the beds, or do some reviewing, or start my novel, or take a walk, or write a letter, or send some e-mails, or get my knitting out, or rearrange a cupboard, or find the meaning of life but you know what?

The newlyweds are sleeping out tonight, I'm meeting my sister tomorrow, I've done what I can on the Newsletter so to hell with it all. I'm going to take a long bath and read my book, open a bottle of vino and CHILL. Don't even think about it, Murphy. *Pthb*
