Fade Into You

Its approaching 4pm here and I'm listening to the mournful musing of Mazzy Star and making a grocery list for tonight's dinner. Things have been going surprisingly well. I'm still not entirely comfortable with the whole situation but my fiance's mother has been sweet and accomodating, completely non-instrusive and very helpful. I can't complain. The experience has been nothing like my previous one so far and for that I am eternally grateful. Work is going along at a managable pace too and overall my stress level has ebbed. I'm trying to focus efforts on getting some more wedding stuff done and finding moments to give back to myself for relaxation and reflection. I've even begun writing again, working on Dismal Afternoon and re-editing some older pieces with the intention of sending them out. Those are all positive things. For me, positive is a big deal.
