Sigh! Wedding?
Me! Sigh! Wedding? 52 and he's 57. No kids. We're both bipolar.

It's kind of sudden, except we've been friends for twenty years. We almost got married in the 80s, but I chickened out. Had we married then, we would have divorced by now. I think now we're both finally ready to settle down.

This getting married idea crossed my mind three weeks ago, but I said nothing. Then it came up today. He gave me a cluster and promise ring with lots of tiny diamonds last week. Called them my sparklies. Tonight he was talking about bigger sparklies. Funny, it's something I always wanted--a pretty diamond ring bridal set. Now I'm almost embarrassed to admit I really do. I'm not embarrassed about not planning to wear white either. He'll do unconventional with me.

This feels so sudden, so weird, and so right.
