Fear of Dairy
Here I am battling yet another ill-tempered stomach and chastizing myself for eating that baked potato covered in sour cream for lunch. I thought I'd take a few moments to distract myself from my growing need to either, a. vomit or b. spend some quality time in the bathroom not vomiting, by writing in the blog that i have been consistantly ignoring. Truth is I've not been doing any writing, short of making grocery lists and notes for the halloween party I am hosting this Saterday. I have been doing a lot of reading...nearly every night. It seems to be the only way I can put my brain to bed. Its odd how even stories about ruthless serial killers and supernatural evils can relax and quiet a mind that lately seethes with worries and doubts.

The wedding is drawing ever closer. Very soon my lack of planning will crash headlong into my desparate need for planning and I'll have something else to stress about than over-extended floorplan lending lines and my own dwindling bank account balance.

There is an excruciating amount of time still left for my work day and as I sit here with my stomach doing backflips, I'm planning my hyperdrive escape as soon as the clock strikes 5pm. Perhaps once I get past the party, I can focus on doing some real work on something in my port..like a real writer might do.
