pork & sauerkraut
I'm very interesting in traditions and superstitions. Around here, we eat pork & sauerkraut on New Year's Day for good luck. Does anyone else do anything like that?
I had boneless pork chops and sauerkraut cooking in my slow cooker all day and I've made mashed potatoes to go with it. I'm still working on perfecting my potatoes. My Mom always made them with butter and milk, but my MIL adds sour cream, too. Mine aren't quite as good as either's yet, but I have hope.
