I've been incredibly busy since being back and I'm finding it hard to make time for myself. I've made a promise to myself to concentrate more seriously on pursuing publication this year and so far, fallen pretty short on my goals. I don't think I've made a single editing venture on any of the pieces, and my original writing has stalled since about a month before the wedding. I had a great venue for my novel but getting back into that particular groove seems about as far-fetched as it could get. I've got to get back to basics and committ to a schedule for writing each night, in place of reading other people's material.
