My blog--I pull a card--if it doesn't speak to me...perhaps it is for you?

a complaint-free world
I finally received my "official" purple bracelet from https://http:www.acomplaintfreeworld.org....I've decided not to switch it from wrist to wrist but to leave it in place. It still serves as a reminder...not to complain or bitch....or at least not so much.

Just finished watching The Diving Bell and the Butterfly...may husband found it too slow, especially with the subtitles. It is very slow, but poignant and moving. It reminds me to remember always when working with my elderly Alzheimer patients, that there is someone in there....but almost every day, some small moment or phrase or gesture reminds me of that anyway.

Can I say I just love Netflix!

I found from a freebie newsletter I get a wonderful site https://http:www.bookcloseouts.com.....at present they are having a $1.00 sale on books....I managed to find Halloween activity books for all the grands...and for signing up, I get $5.00 off my next order of $25.00 or more. I plan to go browsing here for Christmas gifts....they have discounted prices on books and the shipping charges are not horrible. What I will need to do is stop myself from ordering books for me......always a challenge.

Amazingly, summer here in Naples, is officially drawing to a close. The schools in our county are back in next week and teachers started Monday. My two oldest grandkids, go back to school tomorrow...they are in private school....and Rosh Hashanna is around the corner......5-year old Annabella gets a pre-recorded wake-up call from Hannah Montana tomorrow for her first-day of school! Ah, the wonders of the Internet!
