Quotes seen recently, worth repeating:
****Citizenship is what makes a republic -- monarchies can get along without it.      -Mark Twain
****We preach the virtues of democracy abroad. We must practice its duties here at home. Voting is the first duty of democracy.
-Lyndon B Johnson
****Women have been trained to speak softly and carry a lipstick. Those days are over.      -Bela Abzug
*****Once you choose hope, anything is possible.    -Christopher Reeve

I've discovered the hard way that if you type an entry directly onto this site, even though you "save and edit" in the middle and "save entry" when done, it still may not be there the next day. Lesson learned; I will copy from Word from now on.
