Me... caught up? No!
I have to confess a bad habit of mine... I almost always taken on more than I can handle. I just can't say no when somebody asks me for help! And on WDC, that translates to almost always owing something to somebody. Whether it's a prize package that I still need to fulfill... or a review I promised someone I'd get to... or a newsletter I need to get out... and after all that's done, there are still over thirty contests a months that I struggle to find time to create entries for. After all, I did join Writing.com to write! *Laugh*

Anyway, I'm happy to say that my honeymoon (and first vacation in over two years) left me with a renewed sense of energy and commitment. As of a few minute ago, I have completely fulfilled all of my prize package and review obligations... don't have a newsletter to worry about until Monday... and even found the time to submit entries to twelve contests this month. Woohoo!

So I can happily say that for the first time in a long time, I'm actually ahead of the curve and can enjoy my weekend, leisurely thinking about my next short story, rather than cramming to meet a deadline.

I plan on enjoying it... because I know it won't last long.

Now if only I could finish the stack of screenplay submissions I have to read at work. *Laugh*
