Today my only living grandma turns eighty-nine.  She's in a nursing home in Fairfield, Ohio.  Over the years, she became increasingly "bitter" and mean, rather than "better."  We love her, feel sorry for her, visit her and then she does or says something mean and we wonder...  Hopefully, she'll get right with God before she passes.

Since its election day, I'm sure most of us in the USA voted.  I'm looking forward to the conclusion of this race.  With each passing election, our choices become slim, difficult, nonexistent... and the general consensus seems to be that the political candidates -- at every level -- are strictly motivated by power, greed and their own agendas.  The American people just can't seem to find a trustworthy candidate to represent them.  The politicians have become straight-faced, blatant liars.  Even if they seem trustworthy, we soon find out we've been deceived, yet again.

Let's hope and pray that only the "best" candidates are elected one more time around.

         Have a great week!
