After having been off four-and-a-half days, I'm almost dreading going back to work.  You may remember my mentioning we have a trial beginning January 5.  The preparation gets hectic as the countdown gets closer.  A load of stress is generated as I begin to dissect myself---am I up for this---can I do this---will the trial run smoothly?  With the same feelings and thoughts regenerated each morning of trial and again after each recess.  Once it's over, though I'm fatigued and thinning while believing we've done well, the ultimate decision is in the hands of the jury or the judge.  Then another work week begins at the office and I'm on a totally different overwhelming plane of wonderment.  How and when will I get back into this everyday groove?

We've all our crosses to bear, and this happens to be mine until I'm old enough and financially ready to retire.

Here's to us---as we look forward to a bright New Year!  May God be with us!
