         Happy New Year! 

         Our 4-day jury trial was continued to a two-week docket in May.  The judge and the lawyers thought the case was too big to finish in four days.  Horray!  We can now enjoy this New Year celebration without fretting and over-working to get ready for trial.  This signals a brighter 2009... at least that's my take on it.

         Everything returns to "normal," if there really is such a thing, at least by Monday, January 5, 2009 -- for most of us.  I'm back to work tomorrow -- meeting deadlines and cranking out as much work as possible before the weekend.  Oh, happy day!  (It's really not bad --- my frame of mind has done a dramatic turnaround since I heard our trial was continued.)  I CAN DO THIS!!
