I think I'm in love. I've spent the last two days and nights with this really cute guy who seems to be just my type. Strong and solid, dark with beautiful brown eyes and an irresistable smile.

But I'm not shallow enough to think looks are everything. Fortunately he has a great personality too. He doesn't mind where we go or what we do, providing we're together and he's so sociable around other people, which is quite a novelty for me. He makes me laugh and thinks my wisecracks are pretty funny as well.

He's not fussy about his food or set in his ways when it comes to sleep. He doesn't watch sport on television much or snore in the armchair. He doesn't argue about anything or complain about my music. Okay he burps and farts a bit, but I'm old enough to know nobody's perfect.

But why is it whenever we find a regular, good guy, they always go off and leave us? Tomorrow he'll be jetting off to Asia and I don't know how long it will be before I see him again. I just pray he'll stay safe and still remember me when he comes back.
