Inauguration

What a historic day. Regardless of your personal affiliations, it was a remarkable thing to see Barack Obama take the Oath of Office and be sworn in as the forty-fourth President of the United States. I'm humbled by the fact that we're all here to witness history being made... and that there's an energy that this country hasn't felt in a long time. Without getting too political, it seems like most of us, including former-President Bush (how nice is it to be able to say that?) were just waiting for his term to end so we could all move forward.

That day came today... and it's exciting to see what the future will hold. I don't think anybody expects this country to magically repair all its problems overnight, but I don't think that's stopped people from feeling the wave of optimism and hope that comes with a new administration.

I can't wait to see what's coming.
