Somewhere Past the Atmosphere
Somewhere past the atmosphere
I bend to her will as her eyes make me reminisce of constellations
Predicting the future of our evening as I slip
My hand into her aura and remember the warmth
Of sun kissed beaches and mango slices
Women in bright dresses and niggas throwing dice
For ice to cool their ambition for women like her
The flower growing by an oasis of passion
The rest is lost in the sands of time
And I kiss her lips and wonder if there is a heaven above stars
Lil Wayne swears he from Mars
But to see aliens you don’t have to go far
Because this girl is out of this world
Making me want to transcend to a new dawn
Where the sun is her smile and the moon is her soul
And I am just another planet revolving around her
But even stars end abruptly in the stillness of eternal night
And I wish it were easy to escape the suction of her black hole
But, giving in, I enter to find the most beautiful pleasure
Somewhere past the atmosphere
