The road paved here on earth is paved on the backs of the working class.  If you're rich or know the right people, you get a free ride.  If not, you pay for every ride you take...  and some cost more than others.

...Yet I always expect more and am always disappointed.  I must have a thick head.  I just hope my grandsons don't have to feel the pain I feel on a daily basis.

I apologize for the downer, but I have come to learn --- over and over again --- that it is not how hard you work or how well you learn, but it is who you know and how much money you have that paves a way for you in this world.

I just wonder why I have to keep learning the same lesson over and over and over and over...  Maybe I'm not as smart as I think I am.

Hope your week has been and will continue to be much better than mine.  May your innocent, hopeful eyes never see the other side of this life here on earth.

         I wish you the best!
