England is experiencing a heatwave like we haven't seen in years and as we are not geared for air conditioning or home pools, it's a case of sweat, sweat, drip, drip.

I'm going on a weekend trip tomorrow with my friend Joy, to a Lancashire seaside resort called Blackpool. It's kind of a mini version of Las Vegas but nowhere near as famous.

With this extreme, hot weather it seemed all I needed to pack was a swimsuit, suncream, shades, a fan and wine. But then I looked at the weather forecast for Blackpool.

Friday - Torrential Rain

Saturday - Torrential Rain

Sunday - Torrential Rain

Now I have to rethink my packing. Maybe wine, umbrella, wine, book and wine will do.
