The Awakening
You have awoken
A sleeping spirit in me
Who lay dormant all these years
You have set her free.

A Pandora's Box of treasures
Full of magic and wonder
The sprite in me has been gifted
With a new zest for life and plunder.

Each day brings with it
The promise of beauty and awe
My senses have come to life
And are aching to explore.

It is as though
I have been asleep since birth
Waking now from my slumber
Embracing life on earth.

There is no turning back for me
The vixen has awoken
Life has now set me free
The spell I was under, broken.
