I set a specific word count for each blog
I've set a specific word count goal for each blog, so I have to make that goal everyday. Since I'm writing poetry again it isn't as difficult as it was before I got back into the poetry writing mode. I wrote a Haiku and submitted it to a contest yesterday. I'm working on another poem for another contest.

Haiku doesn't seem as difficult to write as other form poems. The poem I'm working on for the other contest is a sonnet, at least that's what I planned when I started the poem. However, it's beginning to look like making this poem a sonnet will take some doing. I'm giving up because sonnets are worth writing not matter how difficult they appear at first.

A sonnet a day
keeps depression away
or at least focuses it.

On to a completely different and off topic subject. I think I'm going to have to find a Senior Day Care center to take Mom to a couple of days a week. Mom's in a much better mood if she gets out of the house a little while. I need some time to do housework without distraction. It's weird, but I can write with Mom in the house without very much difficulty. However, housework seems different. Apparently, I can't do housework with distractions, I need to be alone to do housework. I know that sounds weird, but I'm beginning to believe it's true.
