Time for another headcount

Another census is coming in 2010. Every house in America will receives a census form through the mail. If the census form isn't returned then a census taker comes knocking at the door to assist the residence in filling it out. The census is important for several reason, but the main reason is money. The number of people in the state determines how much money the state can get from the Federal government.

I remember the news anchor saying $9,000 per person for Nevada. I don't know if that amount applies to every state or not. I'm going to have to see how I apply for a job as a census taker. I did it in 2000 and it was an interesting experience. I think I would enjoy doing it again.
