February Blogdown Entry Day 5: Feb. 19
Alternate prompt: contestant suggestion-- Your pet can suddenly speak to you. What does he/she say?

I have cats and they always speak to me. True they don’t use English or any other human language, but they do speak to me. The always make their demands known. Normally, Spot and Prince are the most insistent when it comes to stating their demands.

This morning, if Prince could suddenly speak in English he would say, “My food dish is empty, please fill it.”

I am going to feed them as soon as I finish this entry. When I feed them then Prince will say, “You did it again didn’t you? You let us run out of dry food.”

Spot would speak next, “If you think this half-can of wet food is going to make me happy today you’re crazy. We will each eat our half-can of wet food this morning, but we expect dry food this afternoon.”

Midnight would speak next: “If you don’t have any dry food this afternoon, I will accept another bit of wet food this afternoon, but you will pay for it tonight.”

Beauty, always the sweet lady, would say, “Thank you, can I get on your lap after I finish this delicious meal.”
