A good start to a New Year

Today is Naw-Ruz. Today I begin a New Year. Today I wrote several poems, so the New Year of 167 BE begin good. Never mind anything else that may happen today or the rest of the year because I begin the year writing poetry.

Today I said the Naw-Ruz prayer at dawn. Today I made a fresh percolator of coffee. Today I posted the first poem of the week to the "Invalid Item"  contest. I intended to get the forms for the week, without writing a poem for the contest. However, when I was researching the form, I got an idea for the easy form and so I wrote the poem. I posted the poem to "Poetry in Motion Poems"  my poetry journal for the contest.
