I think I need a new printer

I bought a new cartridge for my printer, installed it, and my printer still does not work. In fact, it does not even acknowledge that I put a new cartridge in, so I do not think the print cartridge is the problem. I have the choice of getting a new printer or finding someone who can do maintenance on this HP printer.

The last time I bought a new printer, I ended up having to buy a new computer because my old computer was incompatible with the new printer. I suppose that could be the case this time as well, so maybe I should find someone in Las Vegas to do maintenance on the printer. Maybe I should take this opportunity to get someone to come to the house and do maintenance on both the computer and the printer.
