She's a Beauty

The heat is bordering on unbearable but perhaps sleeping in the air-conditioning is helping revitalize my spirts as well as loosening up my creative impulses. I recently placed second in an erotica contest among a field of very seasoned and talented competitors. First would have been really great but for my first piece after months of struggling with writing block, I consider it a small victory and a harbinger of better things to come. The baby is feeling better after a weekend of misery. It makes my soul happy to see her sleeping peacefully, her little arms curled up by her perfect face. I wonder if all mother's believe their child is more beautiful than any other...
