Jamál (Beauty), 13 Kalimát (Words), 167 BE – Sunday, July 25, 2010 about 6:10 PM Pacific Time It is the last week in July. In less then seven days a new month begins. August is the cruelest month of the summer. I normally dread August, but not this year. I am looking forward to August. Despite the fact that the power bill will be over three hundred dollars for July and August, I am looking forward to the challenge that finding the money for the power bill and everything else will bring. I am looking forward to making soup, which we can eat cold on a hot summer day. I am looking forward to figuring out a way to get around Las Vegas in a car without a working air conditioner. I am looking forward to drinking cold coffee on a summer afternoon. I am looking forward to August and finding a way to get Mom to the doctor or the cats to the vet. I am looking forward to planning a budget and paying bills. I am looking forward to August and writing stories about the cruelest month of the summer. I am looking forward to the intriguing and interesting thins Mom does. I am looking forward to beginning a new project. I have decided to write a Caregivers Journal containing my experience taking care of Mom. |
