August Sunset in Las Vegas
‘Idál (Justice), 18 Kamál (Perfection), 167 BE – Wednesday, August 18, 2010 about 7:30 PM Pacific Time
I look out my living room window and watch the sunset transform the afternoon clouds. The clouds were white and as the sunset it highlighted their edges in light. The sunset behind the mountains and the clouds changed to burning coals, but now the clouds are dark charcoal like dying coals.
It didn't rain today. It hasn't rained for several days and I don't expect it to rain. We need the rain, but then Las Vegas always needs rain. The clouds have increased the humidity, so now we have wet heat instead of dry heat.
Sunset transforms clouds
There is no thirst quenching rain
Water is sacred
