Ethron was furious, who would dare take his women?
His first wife Tamar cautioned him, "There are no tribes, who would do this.
This is not what it seems."
Ethron pulled Tamar close to his bare chest and pressed her hand
against his heart, "You must pray for them. I cannot see any hope."
Tamar was a gifted prophet and could see past many days.
She took the incense from her pouch and threw some into the fire
at the center of Ethron's great tent. She looked deep into the flames.
"Our three sisters are in Heaven, but they will return." she chanted.
Her head moved slowly upward as she pointed to the Moon.
Ethron fell to his knees "The Lord Most High? I must make a sacrifice of
lamb's blood." Ethron went out to the lambs and took the prize of the flock.
The tribe gathered in worship as the lamb's throat was cut upon the stone
table. The lamb was burned to send its sacrifice to Heaven.

Sylvia looked at the orchids in Rachael's garden. How elegant they were
and fragile. What did Rachael want from her and her sisters?
They had spent days reading strange stories in a language that she had
never heard. Why? Sylvia reached out to touch the orchid.
"Be careful. They're very sensitive to touch." a beautiful woman spoke.
Sylvia wondered at her radiance and then all the people here were beautiful.
"Where are your children, your old people?" she asked.
The woman smiled and walked away. Her eyes were light gray. Sylvia observed
the radiance around the flowers too. This was not natural. This was not right.
She touched the flower. It gave her a sting. There was a slight redness on
    fingers that quickly healed.

          "You are quick." Rachael said.
Sylvia spun about to see her teacher floating above her.
The sight made her feel faint.

"Long before you were born my life ended. But, we cannot die.
It was the way we died. It made us as brilliant as the stars.
We need your bloodline to make a new world." Rachael's words buzzed
like a hundred bees. Sylvia stumbled backwards into Freiderich's arms.
"I am a soldier. I was designed to fight any enemy in any land."
he said. "The way of God is holy. What God is this?" Sylvia answered
    staring up at Freiderich.

"It is the way of all the living." Freiderich replied and kissed her.
