In the past few years books have been adapted into movies. Some have not lived up to their novel origins. What book adaption have you not been impressed by? If you could, would you re-film the movie? What book(s) do you think could make an impressive movie? What book(s) do you think couldn't be made into a movie, no matter what the circumstances?

Eragon. No- someone else can do the job. Temmeraire series by Naomi Novik (His Majesty's Dragon, Throne of Jade, Black Powder War, Empire of Ivory, Victory of Eagles, and Tongue of Serpents) the Joust series by Mercedes Lackey (Joust, Alta, Sanctuary, and Aerie) The Dragonriders of Pern Series, and the Redwall series by Brian Jacques. I can't think of any book that couldn't be made into a movie- trick's finding a guy who will make the correlation between the movie and book accurate.
