The shot

I bent my knees. I took a deep breath. I closed one eye. I felt my blood running inside me, my heart pumping. There was a light cold breeze. I shivered. A duck quaked. I steadied myself. I waited for him to move. I moved my arm up behind my back. I bent my elbow. I aimed, looking for the right angle. The wind stopped, the duck moved. I counted 3-2-1 in my head. I quickly withdrawn my arm from my back and let the flat pebble go. It bounced twice, and sinked. What a shot!
