Las Vegas Museum

It is February 14, 2013 and while most of the world is celebrating love, the Mob Museum is celebrating its one year anniversary. The National Museum of Organized Crime and Law Enforcement, better known as The Mob Museum is located at 300 Stewart Avenue. This museum opened on Valentine's Day in 2012 to coincided with the 83rd anniversary of the St. Valentine's Day Massacre of 1929. This museum has duel mission, which is to educate people about the history of organized crime and advance their understanding about the impact of organized crime on society. http://themobmuseum.org/

Happy 154th Birthday George Farris

George Washington Gale Farris, Jr. was born on February 14, 1859 in Galesburg, Illinois. George Farris designed and built the first Farris Wheel for the Chicago World's Fair in 1893.
