Confessions of an introvert
The February 28, 2013 prompt for "Blogging Circle of Friends Prompt Forum is
Are you an introvert or an extrovert?

I am an introvert! I have known for years that I was an introvert because while I am a risk taker, I am not a big risk taker. By a big risk taker I mean I will not go bungee jumping or cliff diving, but I will go on a hot air balloon ride and I might even go skydiving under the right conditions and with experienced people. I enjoy small groups and one on one or one on two interaction. I am sometimes shy when I meet a stranger for the first time, but once I feel comfortable then the conversation get going.

I just took a quiz that ask "Are you an introvert or an extrovert?" I answered most of the question true, which gave me an I score. This is what it said about my score: "I = Introvert. If you answered the majority of the questions true, you're probably an introvert. Given the choice, you'll devote your social energy to the people you care about most, preferring a glass of wine with a close friend to a party full of strangers. You think before you speak, and relish solitude. You feel energized when focusing deeply on a subject or activity that really interests you. You have an active inner life, and are at your best when you tap into its riches." http://www.thepowerofintroverts.com/quiet-quiz-are-you-an-introvert/

Even though I knew I was an introvert before I took the quiz, I did learn something from it. Before I took the quiz I thought there were only two types of people in the world, which were Introverts and Extroverts. The quiz taught me that there are three types of people, which are Introverts, Ambiverts, and Extroverts. I was going to write more, but was interrupted by a phone call which I could not let got to the voice mail; anyway the distraction chased whatever else I was going to write from my mind.

Thought of the Day: "Being a writer is a very private, internal process. Ultimately I am more the writer, being an introvert." - Paula Cole

About the following poems: I wrote these poems about seven years ago. I came across them recently when I was tossing some stuff away.

Spot Woke Me Up

His snow cold nose placed
On the exposed skin of my
Right hand in dawn's light
(1 Azamat, 162 B.E.)

Feast of Azamat (Grandeur)

Wind red blossoms sip
Faith's vintage from grandeur's vats;
religion renewed.
(1 Azamat, 162 B.E.)
